Cloak clasps
Algerian (Kabylie), late 19th/early 20th century

A pair of silver and coral fibulae or cloak clasps of the Kabyle people of Algeria, with openwork design and central coral that is typical of these clasps, which would have been worn by Kabyle women. In an early twentieth-century western case with an attached handwritten note in English, dated February 3rd (year unknown).
