Silk Cannelé Panel

Panel of green silk cannelé and tabby heavily brocaded with polychrome silk and two kinds of gold and silver thread with architectural motifs, lush large–scale florals and foliage, and mythological figures; the goddess Juno is seated in her peacock–drawn chariot atop a cloud.

One of two paired panels originally forming the sides of a chasuble; the other panel is also available.
