Vandycked Whitework Pelerine
American, ca. 1825

Whitework collar (pelerine) with deep vandyck points. Embroidered around the edges with double row of stylized flower-heads, leaves, and floral & foliate sprays and a floral spray at the center of each point; finely scalloped edges worked in buttonhole stitch; drawstring at neck.
