A rare example of Azzedine Alaïa's early work in the 1970s: a couture evening ensemble in silk chiffon and sequins by Azzedine Alaïa (1935–2017). Comprising a sleeveless hot-pant jumpsuit, entirely sequinned and lined with black silk. With attached overdress of navy blue silk chiffon with small turn-down collar, placket, hem, and cuffs of blue satin; long full sleeves; center-front satin-covered button closure; blue leather belt faced with satin. The label hand-painted by Christophe von Weyhe (1937–2025), Alaïa's life partner.
