With cotton piqué peignoir with ruffled cotton mull trim. Wide spreading collar piped along outer edge, trimmed with ruffle and with small button at CF neck; piped yoke cut in one with back bodice; loose fronts with ruffle along right side; low shoulder seams with three narrow bands of ruching around upper arm released into full sleeve gathered into wrist with ruffle and small fitted cuff; center back bodice finely ruched at waist & the full skirt finely cartridge pleated across back; self-ties with ruffles at ends stitched to side seams; interior belt with button extending from side waist and laundry mark in ink inside right side waist: "O.M. Tobin 4 . 1842."
Very good condition. One center front ruffle partly removed. A few scattered marks in the cotton.
