Embroidered and false-quilted panel forming a bolster cover, probably made in a professional embroidery workshop in London. The central medallion containing stylized Indian-inspired flowers executed on linen in silk in stem and filling stitches in shades of red, pink, blue, and green; many flowers have centers executed in gold-wrapped silk threads; surrounded by a strapwork band of light yellow silk in chevron pattern; corner quarter medallions with similar flowers surrounded by border of yellow silk in chevron pattern; the ground false quilted with off-white (light yellow?) silk thread in overlapping scale and diamond pattern.

Very good condition overall. Minor dye transfer from red pigment at center.
