Spitalfields woven silk shawl, known as a "tissue scarf" in the early 19th century. The central field of cream silk, the end borders woven with harebells, roses, floral and foliate garlands, and lace swags, in shades of green, pink, yellow and blue, fringed at short ends.
Overall very good condition. Some scattered faint marks.
