Viola Grasten
Hand screen-printed furnishing cotton by Viola Grasten for the Nordiska Kompaniet, "Masker" (Masks). Allover pattern in red, black, and cinnamon on white with rows of zigzag edged squares enclosing halved irregular, rounded squares with circles and spots. Printed on selvedge: "Handprinted 'Masker' Viola Grasten Design (NK):s Textilkammare Made in Sweden."
A length in another colorway is in LACMA (M.2017.170.2, sold by Cora Ginsburg LLC).
Good condition overall. Minor fading at one side
