Pair of men's slippers. The shape with a slightly rounded square toe with high throat. Worked in wool tent stitch in green (possibly arsenic) and black with a trompe-l'oeil ribbon and tassel worked in white, clear, metallic goldtone, brown, and black glass beads at the throat and vamp. Edging in black silk velvet along throat. Lined in red silk velvet. Flat leather soles; one sole stamped/embossed "JR."
Very good condition; minor wear to soles; faint discoloration to green in some areas.
