Uncut panel of printed cotton by Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren, from the "Punkature" collection, Spring/Summer 1983. Featuring screen-printed stills from the Ridley Scott film Blade Runner (1982) printed on blue ground and overprinted in gold metallic paint with bucolic country scenes derived from traditional French "toiles de Jouy." The print is oriented horizontally (perpendicular to selvedges) in order to be made into skirts.
