"Atlas" furnishing fabric sample designed by Jean Beaumont for Cornille et Cie., Lyon. With a pattern of circles and polygones in a slubby salmon pink and yellow jacquard weave.
An identical fabric was exhibited in the Salle de la Fabrique lyonnaise in the exhibition L'Art moderne de la soie at the Musée Galliera, 1927; see "L'Art moderne de la soie," La Renaissance de l'art français (July 1927), p. 378; Art et Industrie (July 1927), p. 45; Art et Industrie (July 1929), p. 46; and Art et Industrie (July 1929), p. 38.
Some wear in areas. Imperfections in ink, which appear embossed into the fabric from dyed threads present in the weaving process.
