An exceptionally rare indigo blue resist-dyed linen fragment with a composition of pheasants, pomegranates, and flowers. Related to a group of late 18th-century indigo textiles thought to have been made in America or in England for the American market.
Good condition. Some discoloration. Handsewn along bottom edge.
