Copperplate-printed cotton toile de Nantes depicting "La chasse au sanglier" (also called "La Course"), the Boar Hunt. Printed in sepia brown on white ground. The composition designed by Claude-Louis Desrais (1746–1816) and possibly printed by Lafosse, Lionnet et Medard for Favre Petitpierre. With 19th-century curtain rings and cotton tassel fringe.
Examples in museums include those at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum; Metropolitan Museum of Art; and Musée de l'Impression sur Étoffes de Mulhouse. A paper strikeoff is in the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
