Born in Florence, Alberto Fabio (Fabius) Lorenzi (1880-1964) relocated to Paris where he had a career as an illustrator for tourism posters and fashion magazines like the Gazette du Bon Ton, as well as a textile designer for the luxury firm Bianchini-Férier.
