Fede Cheti
Screen-printed cotton velvet called "Rose Boldini" by Fede Cheti. (1905-1978). With a large-scale design of a bouquet of red, pink, yellow, and white roses and red plum (or cherry) blossoms against a mottled tan brown, rendered with a painterly effect inspired by Giovanni Boldini; with original paper label from the Fede Cheti showroom, via Manzoni, 23, Milan, with handwritten inscription: "[?] 4 / 415/32 / VELLUTO DISEGNO / ROSE BOLDINI / FONDO MARRONE" and handwritten hang tag noting "velluto".
Excellent, unused condition.
