The so-called “Lindbergh Toile” celebrating the 1927 transatlantic flight of Charles Lindbergh, from the New York firm Witcombe McGeachin & Co., and designed by an otherwise little-known English-born textile designer, Harry Hurbert Kuenemann (1861–1953). The portrait of Lindbergh after his New York Times studio portrait (1927); printed by Passaic Print Works in New Jersey and distributed by Witcombe, McGeachin & Co., Inc.
