Wolf Bauer for Knoll
Printed velveteen (cotton velvet), entitled "Collage," designed by Wolf Bayer for Knoll International Ltd. and printed by Pausa AG. Off-white ground with trompe l'oeil design resembling a torn paper collage in two columns, in shades of electric orange, golden yellow, lime and soft mint green, and fuchsia and bubble-gum pink. On selvedge: Collage Designed by Wolf Bauer, 1967 (c), Knoll International Ltd.
An identical length is in the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum (2011-6-1, sold by Cora Ginsburg LLC). Length in different colorways are in Die Neue Sammlung, Munich (1201/83) and the MFA, Boston (2019.1945).
