Stomacher embroidered in polychrome silk threads in stem stitch, long-and-short stitch, chain stitch, and bullion knots on a layer of silk taffeta, with a symmetrical composition of carnations, tulips, rosebuds, and leaves. The ground couched in silver-wrapped threads with a chevron motif, the top with red couching and the rest with yellow. Edged with braided silk cord and unlined. Overall good condition: tarnishing to silver and some losses to silk threads.
