Self-figured blue heavily brocaded in points rentrés with polychrome silk and and metal threads. Probably designed by Jean Eric Rehn and woven by Abraham Ekstedt. Large-scale floral and foliate sprays in shades of deep plum, pale lilac, lemon and golden yellow, red, pink, green, and black silk and silver file, frise and lamella threads, the plum and lilac flowers with silver-gilt frisé and lamella details; the sprays bordered by serpentine stylized floral trail in deep plum with silver-gilt frise and lamella centers, and irregular scrolls with basket-weave patterning and leafy edges in silver frisé, filé, and lamella threads; the cannelé ground with small, all-over scrolling sprig motifs.

Provenance
Herrborum Säteri, Östergötland, Sweden. Formerly having belonged to Göran Gyllenstierna (1724–1799). A banyan of this silk belonging to Göran Gyllenstierna is in the Museo de la Moda, Chile, Santiago (sold by Cora Ginsburg LLC).
