"Roads" screen-printed cotton prototype or strikeoff made by Gretl and Leo Wollner for Knoll International and printed by Pausa AG in Germany. Large-scale unrepeating design of parallel vertical bars in shades of red from bright brick to deep red looping together on a white ground.
A length of "Roads" in a different colorway and printed on cotton-viscose satin is at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (2022.68, sold by Cora Ginsburg LLC).
Excellent condition.
